Itinerary Day Wise
Day 1: Arrival at Jammu – Jammu Sightseeing – Transfer to Katra

Upon arrival at Jammu, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Raghunath Temple, Bagh-e-Bahu, Bahu Fort, and Mahamaya Temple. Raghunath Temple is an iconic Hindu religious site dedicated to Lord Rama. Bagh-e-Bahu, a Mughal-style garden, offers scenic views along the Tawi River. Bahu Fort, an ancient structure with a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, and Mahamaya Temple, dedicated to a local heroine, enrich the day. After sightseeing, transfer to Katra for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Katra Full Day Tour to Mata Vaishno Devi Temple

Embark on a trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine (13 km), a significant Hindu pilgrimage site at an altitude of 5200 ft. The trek offers the opportunity for darshan at the Holy Cave where natural rock formations represent the goddess. Helicopter or pony rides are available for convenience. Return to Katra for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Katra to Srinagar

After breakfast, check-out and head to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer from Srinagar to Pahalgam + Pahalgam Sightseeing

Drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam, passing through scenic villages and the picturesque Lidder River. Visit Chandanwari, Aru Valley, and Betaab Valley for breathtaking views. These destinations offer a variety of activities like snow sledging, trekking, and horse riding. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 5: Departure from Pahalgam to Jammu

Check-out from Pahalgam and travel back to Jammu for your onward journey, with memories to cherish.

Day 6: Arrival at Srinagar Airport – Transfer to Kargil via Sonamarg

Arrive at Srinagar Airport and drive to Kargil, passing through Sonamarg, the ‘Meadow of Gold,’ and the Zojila Pass, the gateway to Ladakh. Visit Drass, one of the coldest inhabited places. Continue to Kargil for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer from Kargil to Leh via Lamayuru

After breakfast, begin the journey to Leh, visiting Mulbekh Monastery and Lamayuru Monastery, both rich in Buddhist history. Enjoy scenic views as you pass through Namkila and Fotu La passes. Continue exploring Alchi Monastery, Likir Monastery, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers before arriving in Leh for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Day Excursion to Matho, Stakna, Stok & Mahabodhi

Explore Matho Monastery, known for its annual festival and ancient Thangas, and visit Stakna Monastery, perched on a hill. Discover Stok Palace, the residence of royal descendants, and the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre, founded for spiritual and humanitarian purposes. Return to Leh for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Leh to Nubra Valley

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin the scenic drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, the highest motorable pass in the world. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Indus Valley, the Zanskar range, and the Saser massif. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel or camp in Hunder, and in the evening, take a leisurely walk through the village to explore the local way of life. You can also opt for a visit to a Ladakhi home, subject to availability.

Day 10: Full Day Excursion to Turtuk

After breakfast, embark on an exciting full-day excursion to Turtuk, a unique border village that was captured by the Indian army during the 1971 war. The village offers a fascinating mix of Ladakhi and Nurbakshi Muslim culture, with stunning mountain views and the lush Shayok River. The journey to Turtuk will take you through winding roads and vibrant mountains, making it one of the most memorable trips of your journey.

Day 11: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok

After an early breakfast, check out and drive towards Hunder, where you can take a ride on a Bactrian camel amidst the sand dunes of this high-altitude desert. Continue your journey through the picturesque Shyok Valley, passing through the villages of Changthang, and eventually reach the stunning Pangong Lake. Enjoy the mesmerizing sight of the lake’s blue waters surrounded by snow-capped mountains. You will check into your camp near Pangong Lake for the night.

Day 12: Pangong Lake to Leh

After a relaxing morning by the lake, depart for Leh, stopping en route to visit the Hemis Gompa, the largest monastery in Ladakh. This 17th-century monastery is famous for its vibrant annual festival and impressive Buddha statue. After visiting the monastery, continue your journey back to Leh, where you’ll check in to your hotel and have some time for shopping or sightseeing in the city.

Day 13: Departure from Leh

On your final day, check out from your hotel and get transferred to the Leh airport for your onward journey. This marks the end of your memorable Ladakh trip.

  • The vehicle provided will be as per the confirmed booking. Any request for an additional or upgraded vehicle due to excess or oversized luggage will incur extra charges.
  • The vehicle service is available until 8:00 PM as per the itinerary. Usage beyond this time will attract applicable night charges, payable directly on the spot.
  • Standard vehicle usage is permitted between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, covering sightseeing and travel as per the itinerary.
  • For outings beyond 7:00 PM, additional vehicle charges will apply or alternative transportation must be arranged at your own cost.
  • Most hotels in Munnar provide only non-AC rooms. Kindly reconfirm your room category if you require an AC room.
  • In the event of road closures, alternate routes may need to be taken to reach your destination. Any additional charges for such detours will be payable directly.
  • Entry tickets to the Periyar Wildlife Reserve are not included and must be pre-booked before travel.
  • Similarly, most hotels in Thekkady offer only non-AC rooms. Please verify your room type if air conditioning is desired.
  • Upon hotel check-in, an advance/security deposit may be required (as per hotel policy). This is refundable at check-out, minus any applicable charges for mini-bar items, late check-out, or damages to the room.
  • Tickets to attractions, museums, trains, cable cars, ferries, rides, safaris, etc., are not included unless explicitly specified.
