Itinerary Day Wise
Day 1: Arrival at Bangalore & Half Day Bangalore Sightseeing – Transfer to Mysore

Upon arrival in Bangalore before 10:00 AM, you’ll be greeted by our representatives at the airport or railway station. After a short meet and greet, embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of the city. Begin with a visit to the Bangalore Palace, a majestic 19th-century palace set amidst lush gardens. Its Tudor-style architecture, wooden carvings, and regal interiors offer a glimpse into royal life of the bygone era. Next, head to the impressive Vidhana Soudha, the state legislature building known for its grand façade and colonial-era charm. Continue to the Bull Temple, the largest temple in the world dedicated to Nandi, the sacred bull. The last stop in Bangalore is Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, an Indo-Islamic architectural gem with ornate floral motifs and rich historical resonance. After sightseeing, you’ll depart for Mysore, a scenic 3.5-hour drive from Bangalore. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and unwind. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the city or simply relaxing in your room. Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 2: Royal Mysore Tour with Brindavan Gardens

Start your day with a cultural immersion into Mysore, Karnataka’s cultural capital, filled with historical architecture, shrines, and lush landscapes. Begin the day with a visit to the Mysore Zoo (closed on Tuesdays), one of the country’s oldest and most diverse zoos, home to rare species like gorillas, orangutans, giraffes, and African elephants. Then proceed to the Mysore Palace, a stunning architectural wonder built with grey granite and pink marble. The palace is adorned with intricate domes, a towering golden spire, and an entrance pavilion filled with vintage dolls and golden wooden elephants. In the evening, travel to the Krishna Raja Sagara Dam and the adjacent Brindavan Gardens, famous for their symmetrical layout and colorful musical fountains synchronized with lights and music. Enjoy the dazzling fountain show before heading back to the hotel. For shopping enthusiasts, Mysore is known for silk saris, sandalwood products, incense, and traditional Ganjifa paintings. Day 3: Transfer from Mysore to Coorg

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Coorg, a picturesque 3-hour drive from Mysore. Known as the “Scotland of India,” Coorg welcomes you with its misty hills, coffee plantations, and serene ambiance. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. You may choose to explore the surrounding landscapes, visit a local café, or simply relax amidst the cool climate and tranquil setting. Overnight stay in Coorg.

Day 4: Excursion to Nagarhole National Park & Iruppu Falls

Wake up early for an adventurous safari in Nagarhole National Park (to be booked online in advance). This pristine forest reserve is a haven for wildlife lovers and photographers, with chances of spotting tigers, elephants, leopards, and various bird species. The safari is conducted either in the early morning or late afternoon, and the experience is truly immersive as you traverse the dense jungle with a driver-guide. Later, visit the stunning Iruppu Falls, also known as the Lakshmana Tirtha Falls. Surrounded by lush forests and hills, this waterfall offers a peaceful retreat and is a favourite among nature lovers. Return to your hotel in Coorg and spend the night at leisure.

Day 5: Half-Day Coorg Sightseeing & Transfer to Bangalore for Departure

After breakfast, check out and go on a half-day sightseeing tour of Coorg. Start with Abbey Falls, a magnificent waterfall nestled amidst spice plantations, coffee estates, and dense greenery. A hanging bridge offers fantastic views of the falls and the surrounding forest. Next, visit the Madikeri Fort (closed on Mondays), which houses a museum, temple, and provides panoramic views of the town. Then, stop by the Omkareshwara Temple, a unique shrine with a blend of Gothic and Islamic architectural styles dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lastly, visit Raja’s Seat, a scenic viewpoint once reserved for the Coorg royalty, ideal for catching sunrise or sunset views amidst floral gardens and toy train rides. After the tour, depart for Bangalore, a 6-hour drive away. You’ll be dropped off at the airport or railway station for your return journey. Please ensure your departure is scheduled after 8:00 PM to accommodate the day’s activities.

  • The vehicle service is available until 8:00 PM as per the itinerary. Usage beyond this time will attract applicable night charges, payable directly on the spot.
  • Standard vehicle usage is permitted between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, covering sightseeing and travel as per the itinerary.
  • For outings beyond 7:00 PM, additional vehicle charges will apply or alternative transportation must be arranged at your own cost.
  • Most hotels in Munnar provide only non-AC rooms. Kindly reconfirm your room category if you require an AC room.
  • In the event of road closures, alternate routes may need to be taken to reach your destination. Any additional charges for such detours will be payable directly.
  • Entry tickets to the Periyar Wildlife Reserve are not included and must be pre-booked before travel.
  • Similarly, most hotels in Thekkady offer only non-AC rooms. Please verify your room type if air conditioning is desired.
  • Upon hotel check-in, an advance/security deposit may be required (as per hotel policy). This is refundable at check-out, minus any applicable charges for mini-bar items, late check-out, or damages to the room.
  • Tickets to attractions, museums, trains, cable cars, ferries, rides, safaris, etc., are not included unless explicitly specified.
