Itinerary Day Wise
Day 01: Guwahati – Nameri National Park
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, receive a traditional welcome from our representative. Visit the sacred Maa Kamakhya Temple on Nilachal Hills (10 km), one of the 108 Shakti Pethas. Then drive to Nameri (250 km / approx. 6 hrs). Located on the Assam–Arunachal Pradesh border, Nameri is known for its scenic beauty and the Jia Bharali River. The nearby Nameri National Park is part of Project Tiger. Overnight at Nameri.
Day 02: Nameri – Dirang
After breakfast, drive to Dirang (200 km / approx. 7 hrs). En route, visit Tipi Orchidarium, home to over 7,500 orchids within a glasshouse. Overnight stay at a hotel in Dirang.
Day 03: Dirang – Tawang
After breakfast, drive to Tawang (143 km / approx. 7 hrs), crossing the stunning Sela Pass (13,703 ft). Spend time at the beautiful Paradise Lake. On arrival in Tawang, check into the hotel. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 04: Tawang Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to Madhuri Lake, Bum La Pass, and the China Border (subject to permit). Visit the iconic Tawang Monastery with its panoramic views, followed by the War Memorial. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 05: Tawang – Bomdila
Early morning, drive to Jang for a scenic view of waterfalls. Visit Jaswant Garh Indo-China War Memorial and continue downhill to Bomdila (185 km / approx. 7 hrs). Overnight at hotel in Bomdila.
Day 06: Bomdila – Guwahati
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Guwahati. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 07: Guwahati – Cherrapunjee – Shillong
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (approx. 4.5 hrs), the wettest place on Earth. Explore Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Ramakrishna Mission, Eco Park, and Thangkharang Park. Later, drive to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Day 08: Shillong – Guwahati Airport Drop
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey. En route, visit the largest manmade lake in Northeast India – Umium Lake.
Exclusions
- Any increase in airfare, visa fees, airport taxes, government levies, fuel surcharges, or the introduction of new taxes by the government.
- Any upgrade in airline class or hotel room category, as well as charges related to changes in air ticket bookings.
- Any fluctuation in foreign exchange rates that may result in an increase in the cost of land arrangements prior to departure.
- Expenses related to additional hotel accommodations before or after the official tour dates.
- Additional costs incurred due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances such as route changes, airline amendments, date modifications, or changes in accommodation facilities.
- Personal expenses such as porterage, laundry, telephone calls, shopping, alcoholic beverages, or food and drinks not included in the group menu.
Any additional expenses incurred due to medical emergencies including illness, accidents, hospitalization, or other personal situations. - Charges for services or activities not specified in the group tour itinerary.
- For passengers opting for direct joining, the cost of airport transfers will be borne by the individual, and they are expected to join the group at the designated hotel.
Terms & Conditions
- If the mentioned hotels are not available at the time of booking, similar category hotels will be provided.
- The given package cost is based on the basic (first category) room. Room upgrades will incur additional charges, payable by the guest.
- Early check-in and late check-out are not included. Any such requests will attract extra charges, to be borne by the guest.
- The package does not include expenses of personal nature such as laundry, liquor, porterage, etc.
- No refund will be provided for any unutilized services (meals, sightseeing, etc.).
- Optional sightseeing must be pre-booked and is chargeable.
- Once the package is purchased, it is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The itinerary is subject to change due to unforeseen situations such as bad weather or heavy traffic. No refunds in such cases.
- Guests are advised not to leave any belongings unattended in the vehicle. The operator is not responsible for any loss or damage.
- Any damage caused to the hotel property or vehicle during the stay/transfer will be the responsibility of the guest.
