Itinerary Day Wise
Day 1: Arrival in Chandigarh – Transfer to Shimla

Upon your arrival at Chandigarh Airport, begin your journey to Shimla — the charming hill capital of Himachal Pradesh. Once the summer retreat of the British Raj, Shimla is known for its cool climate, colonial-era architecture, and scenic mountain views. Located at around 2000 meters above sea level, it’s a favourite destination for both leisure and adventure tourism, offering activities like trekking, mountaineering, and skiing. After reaching Shimla, complete your hotel check-in and unwind with an overnight stay.

Day 2: Kufri Excursion and Shimla Local Sightseeing

Start your day with a hearty breakfast and head to Kufri — a picturesque hill station known for panoramic Himalayan views and outdoor fun. Popular among trekkers and winter sports enthusiasts, Kufri boasts some of Himachal’s oldest skiing slopes and is home to the Himalayan Nature Park with over 180 species of fauna. Later in the day, explore Shimla’s bustling Mall Road, stop by the scenic Scandal Point, and pay a visit to the iconic Jakhoo Temple. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 3: Day Excursion to Chail and Naldehra

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Chail, once the summer capital of the princely state of Patiala. Spread across three hills — Rajgarh, Pandewa, and Sadh Tiba — Chail is home to the historic Chail Palace and the world’s highest cricket and polo ground. Visit Sidh Baba Ka Mandir, a sacred spot believed to bless the town’s success. On the way, enjoy a stop at the tranquil village of Sadhupul. Continue onward to Naldehra, known for its forest-lined golf course said to be inspired by Scottish links. Return to Shimla for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Day at Leisure in Shimla

Today is free for you to relax or explore Shimla at your own pace. You can stroll through Lakkar Bazaar, try out local Himachali cuisine, or simply take in the fresh mountain air. Optional activities and local experiences can be arranged if desired.

Day 5: Transfer to Chandigarh – Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Chandigarh, one of India’s best-planned cities and known for its clean, green spaces and architectural brilliance. Upon arrival, proceed to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Your memorable Himachal getaway comes to an end — taking with you a heart full of mountain memories.

  • The vehicle provided will be as per the confirmed booking. Any request for an additional or upgraded vehicle due to excess or oversized luggage will incur extra charges.
  • The vehicle service is available until 8:00 PM as per the itinerary. Usage beyond this time will attract applicable night charges, payable directly on the spot.
  • Standard vehicle usage is permitted between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, covering sightseeing and travel as per the itinerary.
  • For outings beyond 7:00 PM, additional vehicle charges will apply or alternative transportation must be arranged at your own cost.
  • Most hotels in Munnar provide only non-AC rooms. Kindly reconfirm your room category if you require an AC room.
  • In the event of road closures, alternate routes may need to be taken to reach your destination. Any additional charges for such detours will be payable directly.
  • Entry tickets to the Periyar Wildlife Reserve are not included and must be pre-booked before travel.
  • Similarly, most hotels in Thekkady offer only non-AC rooms. Please verify your room type if air conditioning is desired.
  • Upon hotel check-in, an advance/security deposit may be required (as per hotel policy). This is refundable at check-out, minus any applicable charges for mini-bar items, late check-out, or damages to the room.
  • Tickets to attractions, museums, trains, cable cars, ferries, rides, safaris, etc., are not included unless explicitly specified.
